What happens in Winter?

Program Descriptions:

Maple Sugaring: (1 hour or 1.5 hours) mid-February to mid-March. Experience the process of turning sap into maple syrup. Sit by a warm fire, listen to a Native American legend, and try your hand at tapping a tree. Also, learn about the tree biology that allows this process to happen.

Sheep to Shawl: (1 hour or 1.5 hours) January only. Explore all the steps of processing wool in this hands-on program. Card and spin wool, learn about dyeing, and weave something to take home.

What Happens In Winter?: (1 hour) Focus on the survival techniques of plants and animals during this special season .
