2010 Summer Camp Counselor Positions Available

Do you enjoy working with children ages 4-14 years of age?   Are you a team player?  Do you enjoy spending your time outdoors?  We are looking for Counselors.  We have Camp Counselor paid positions (minimum age 18)  available. All counselors must complete the 3 week counselor training course that includes certification in basic first aid training and CPR. .

Environmental Education Internship - Position full

(Sept. through May)

Our internship experience offers a comprehensive understanding of many aspects of the environmental education field. Internships are offered throughout the year.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Teach on-site and off-site environmental education programs to schools, organized groups and the general public.
  • Assist in animal care and handling
  • Lesson plan development
  • Special event planning and participation
  • Participate in the overall day to day operations of the Center
  • Internship Benefits include:

  • Outdoor adventure opportunities (kayaking, canoeing, camping, etc.)
  • Qualifications:

  • College student or graduate, interested in science, education, communication, environmental or related fields.
  • Interested working with children and the public.
  • Enjoy being in the outdoors.
